The informative 278-page A4 guide, edited by Gordon Knight and is now in its 30th edition. The guide has now been expanded with maps of every waterway in the two countries and updates on over 250 mooring locations.

Described as their ‘Bible’ by regular users as well as yacht skippers planning routes to and from the Mediterranean, it contains a wealth of information on cruising routes, cruising preparations, supplies, equipment, licences and documents, useful addresses, books and websites as well as listing around 250 mooring places throughout France and Belgium with comments upon facilities, depths, prices, closest shops and restaurants and nearby attractions.

The guide is regularly updated (usually annually) using reports submitted by members of the CA’s European Inland Waterways Section (EIWS).
